E komo mai  (Welcome!) to Ramon’s site!

Originally from Hawai’i where he began honing his skills in the art of raku pottery over 30 years ago, Ramon has been exhibiting, and winning awards ever since.  He transplanted to the D.C. area in 1996, gaining national recognition as a ceramic artist and juried member of the prestigious Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, as well as resident artist at Lee Arts Center in Falls Church.  After living in Vienna, VA for over a decade, Ramon is now spending more of his time back home in Hawai’i, rejuvenated by the environment and land that has always inspired his work.
